Interested to join the lab?

Postdoc or Senior Staff: We welcome postdocs and staff scientists in Maryland or Okinawa. The best way is is to procure an independent fellowships, for example JSPS, Marie Curie, etc. There are no open funded positions at the moment, however we will post them as they become available.

Technical Staff: At the moment there are no open positions, but if you want to work with us then it never hurts to express interest, in case something opens in the future.

Graduate Student: I supervise students at Maryland in the Entomology graduate program, and the BiSi program, Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, Systematics (BEES) and Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and Genomics (CBBG) concentration areas. I can co-supervise graduate students in the OIST PhD Program.

Undergraduate Student: If you are a UMD undergrad looking to get involved in research, reach out. We can host students For those interested in OIST, there is a good research intern program you can apply for.
